I've been heard traffic on TG 801 on WVSIRN, it appears to be EMS and Fire only at this time but haven't heard any SO as of yet.

If you are hearing taylor co fire traffic on 801 then I am willing to bet that the law enforcement will be using TG 807... when ohio county first switched to the IRP, the dispatcher(only) would still simulcast on the vhf channel.... all mobile units were only on the digital system....

Here ya go, Taylor County Legacy Freqs (Pre IRP)

155.7150..153.8000 WPQF578 Law Enforcement Taylor County Sheriff # 1 156.7 PL (dispatch freq for Taylor SD and Grafton PD)

155.625..151.115 KQ4361 Law Enforcement Grafton Police 103.5 PL (not used for dispatch since the Harrco 911 takeover)

As far as I know they are still using them as of last week but suspect they will be switching over to the IRP very soon

Yep, Your going to have to buy you a Digital radio, My suggestions are a Pro-106, Pro-197 or a BCD396XT or BCD996XT. All good radios. If you lean towards a easier radio go with a HP-1 or PSR-800.

Taylor County is using the SIRN more and more. TG 801 is pretty active lately. It seems to be a mix of EMS and Fire. Saw 803 pop up one time but only for a second on a fire call. 806 or 807, I can't remember which, seemed to be either sheriff or local police talking about a funeral escort.
