my uniden sds100 and uniden sds200 are working on the troup county public safety system, the simulcast is helping with coverage issues, i created a generic favorites list with sentinel software using the new frequencies listed on the FCC’s webite…I’ve been programming my friends scanners…works like a charm!
Any special settings or instructions on programming new frequencies? Are you receiving anything from Hogansville?

Any updates for the Troup County Public Safety P25 System?

Is there anyone listening to or monitoring the New Troup County Simulcast Site or System?
Is the New Simulcast Site or System & Talk Groups using Phase I/1 or Phase II/2?
How is the Signal coverage or reception, Good, Bad, Better or Worse than the Old System?
Any Talk Group changes, updates or any New Talk Groups heard, logged or seen?
What City or County Agencies or Departments are being heard? Hogansville, Lagrange, West Point, Troup County?
Has anyone decoded or logged any Alt. Control Channel's yet?

LaGrange and Troup County Georgia has started encrypting certain channels on their system at this time. The main 911 dispatch has not been encrypted but a lot of mobiles have.

I have seen the ENC in the log in ProScan several times but I'm not sure why. Sometimes it will show the System/Site as Troup County Public Safety P25 / Troup County Simulcast and sometimes it shows Western Area Regional Radio System Authority (WARRS). The NAC is correct, but System and Site fluctuate.

Troup simulcast is troup, WARRS is Heard, Coweta and Carroll county.

I fully aware of that. I might have been my ProScan acting up. I uninstalled it and re installed it and haven't see any more Enc in the digital type anymore since. Since I live in Heard County I still listen to Troup since I was there for 42 years.

Can you still hear TCCO mobile units?

Need a little help from the experienced people on here to help identify this radio system for Hogansville GA.

This morning Hogansville was still patched into Troup P25. This afternoon HPD was encrypted in the P25 but they have moved from the Troup P25 to what I think Hytera. So i did my research and have the below information for their system, i was only able to get this using the DMR setup in SDRTrunk, the nightly version. i do hear PTT beeps and some very short voice noise. The listed FCC Frequency Id match across all locations.

FCC Emission Designators for all channels

  • 8K10F1D P25 Phase I C4FM data
  • 8K10F1E P25 Phase I C4FM voice (typically used for single-site systems)
  • 7K60FXD 2-slot DMR (Motorola MOTOTRBO) TDMA data
  • 7K60FXE 2-slot DMR (Motorola MOTOTRBO) TDMA voice
  • F3E FM speech communication – often used for marine radio and many other VHF communications

There are (3) towers, (3) radius around tower & (1) 6.1 meter rules assigned the following frequencies:

Tower 1 - Station Class FB2 output 100W max 350
  • 856.0875 Freq Id 1
  • 856.1375 Freq Id 3
  • 857.5125 Freq Id 2
  • 857.5375 Freq Id 4

Radius around Tower 1 - Station Class MO output 35W max 50
  • 811.0875 Freq Id 2
  • 811.1375 Freq Id 6
  • 812.5125 Freq Id 4
  • 812.5375 Freq Id 8

Tower 3 - Station Class FB2 output 100W max 350
  • 856.0875 Freq 1
  • 856.1375 Freq 3
  • 857.5125 Freq 2
  • 857.5375 Freq 4

Radius around tower 3 - Station Class MO output 35W max 50W

  • 812.5375 Freq Id 4
In the attached i saw the work Hytera in the messsages in 812.5375, thats all that stood out to me.

Attached are screenshots of events and messages from SDRTrunk SDR software with 2-SDR-RTLs. I noticed that the waterfall was not centered around the followed frequency due to me not clicking view spectrum. This does not affect the events or messages.

I have DSD+ but for the last month could not get it to work.

I need to figure out the frequencies to assign each LCN To LSN with frequencies. I have played around with it but got nothing to work. I appreciate everyone's time and thank you in advance.

Going to try making the LCN match the frequency Id listed in FCC tonight to see what happens.

I'll give it two weeks and see if the whole system is dark or just LE. Right now, besides AMR the Lagrange Fire Department Alerting is still in the clear but that's all. After that time, we should know if the rest is affected and report it to update the database.
