Don't confuse P25 Phase II TDMA voice channels with TDMA control channels.
So far there are only a few systems in the US using TDMA control channels. It's been in the P25 standard sicne at least 2017. I think so far Harris is the only manufacturer that offers it.

I haven't kept up with Uniden or Whistler that much but I haven't heard of any upgrades for P25 TDMA control channels yet. Scanner manufacturers usually don't talk about future products or firmware updates until they are released.

I’m familiar with P25P2 using TDMA voice, I’m inquiring about TMDA CC

I also believe that if a Uniden scanner hits a TDMA voice channel it does not decode the activity. I suspect its not capturing the slot and thus not decoding.

I have yet to see that in the SDS100 or 436, so I’m not sure where you got that.

I believe what he probably meant was that if a scanner stops on an active TDMA voice channel in conventional scan/search mode, it will not decode the voice activity. TDMA voice activity will only be decoded when the scanner is directed to that voice channel/slot by the control channel grant. So while his statement is true, it's also off-topic in this thread where the (poorly worded original) question was regarding TDMA control channels, not traffic channels.
