Teamspeak - firewall maybe causing problems?

I have run Teamspeak 2.0 at home and it works fine.

I have run it at work before and it worked fine too.

However recently I have moved buildings at work (read new network) and I have gotten a new laptop.

Upon intalling TS 2.0 on the new work laptop I got an error during the part where it installed the codec's (the error message was like "Somthing terrible has gone wrong")

I got Admin proveledges and reinstalled and the codecs installed fine.

However, I cant access ANY servers.

The error is the simple error...
http://incidentbroadcast.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=23&Itemid=51
... but I know the servers are running cause every time I connect from home it works.

Is there a way to find out if a port is blocked or my employeer has some firewall settings resident on my laptop?

When I stick the URL in a browser I get a strange error that looks like its from my network and not a standart http error - as follows:

Gateway Timeout
The following error occurred:
Code:
A gateway timeout occurred. The server is unreachable. Retry the request.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please contact the administrator.

I dont think its fault with my employers network becasue I disconnected the laptop from the network and tried to connect using my wireless AirCard.

I think there must be setting on my laptop that are prohibiting me from connecting.

Anyone have any suggestions for me or can help me figure this out?

I have the same problem at my work, ports are all blocked except port 80. I can't listen to mp3 streams either. This is not good when an emergency is occuring back at home like a brush fire, earthquake, or freeway tunnel fire on my route home, like we have had lately.

Yeah your ports are blocked on the network server. It happened recently here at Bradley University switchboard. Computing services had blocked some ports thinking it was causing the switchboard to crash and one of the ports blocked also prevented teamspeak servers from working. Worked fine before that, didn't work after the change, they changed it back and now teamspeak is working fine again.

Its not the network server - its resident on my laptop. I am on vacation today with said laptop and on a wireless network in the hotel and I still get the same error. And, I know its not all ports in a range becasue I can listen to most any feed in WinAmp, etc.

Is there something else I can check for? Maybe my un-install and re-install wasnt a full or good enough uni-install.

Still looking for help. Will check in each night while on vacation so maybe I can resolve!

Thanks in advance,

Don't know good bud, I guess just check to see that you have the log in info exactly the same as your other computers that teamspeak works on. Sometimes a checked box here or there in the login screen will make it not work.
