Over a year ago Teaneck installed new town wide voice/sirens, have they ever been tested or used yet? the 453.xxx freq allocated to OEM has any body heard it used?

I have friends who live near one of the middle schools in Teaneck. I was on the phone with them one day and I heard the sirens blowing in the background. They had no idea what the noise was until I told them. My understanding is that hte 453.xxxx frequency is being used to control the sirens.
