Just wonder what the other 320 users are using for the front end control of the radio. I have been using what ten-tec offers but i think i want more :) I might pull the plug on N4PY Pegasus Plus controller software. Can anyone recommended something better or is n4py's stuff as good as it gets. Im running windows 7 32bit

xeno, I run Scan320, but that's on a XP machine. My desktop is an older model and doesn't have the horsepower to run Win7.

I know a few folks running the Callsign software, and I'm pretty sure that's Win7 compatible now. Apart from SW Log, a lot of the older software (such as the well known Clifton Turner freeware) may not run in Win7 unless in compatibility mode (hopefully I'm wrong about that - I'm sure there are a lot of folks running Win7...). I kinda doubt most of the older packages are being maintained anymore (maybe RxPlus, but again I'm not too sure about whether that software can be run in Win7...)

The RX320 Yahoo group would be the place to go... 73 Mike

I tried shortwave log. The controller is not bad but the program as a whole is very very bloated. I don't think clifftons program works well at all with windows 7. I had a lot of issues with it. Think it has to do with the visual basic vbrun.dll files and some .ocx files. Maybe i will just stick with tentec's native app. Thanks for your input.

Just a follow up scan320 works perfect in windows 7 native. no need to run as admin no compatible mode. Its its actually very very good.

The passband filter is nice too.
