Any one have information on how to manually program Tenafly Police on Uniden 536 scanner?

They’re on the NJICS. You need to program that system and Tenfaly’s TGIDs. Try and limit the scanners search to the alpine and ramapo sites , and west orange simulcast.

I tried that. Only one Tenafly transmission came through in over 5 hours, other agencies came over fine, passaic county sheriff, state police, fairfield pd etc. Can there be an issue with Tenafly because they also simulcast on 156.21? I have also held the channel TG4715 overnight with nothing received.

Try limiting your search to just Alpine. It is possible that you may not be receiving the Alpine site and that Tenafly might not be homing on any site other than Alpine. The transmission you did hear may have been because there was one of their radios traveling outside of the Alpine site's range. It is also possible that they may be using their encrypted channel.

Was listening to their analog VHF. Not NJICS.

Anyone able to hear Tenafly PD while just system scanning NJICS with the Uniden 536? I used to receive it. Can the issue be that I programmed the scanner using my zip code instead of using the sentinel programming? I do get the other agencies like NJ State PD, Belleville PD, Union County etc. with strong signals here in Bergen County.

This is the 3rd time you’re asking this question. The first time you asked it, multiple users, including me, recommended you limit your scanned sites to the ramapo and alpine sites among other recommendations. You’re not likely to get different answers by posting the same question multiple times because it will be the same people who monitor those systems giving you advice.

I have tried all the suggestions with negative results. That's why I asked a 3rd time, just wanted to see if anyone was picking it up. Sorry if I upset you.
