Greetings. I'm looking for freq for "Tenafly Taxi" which I believe has relocated to Alpine? Thanks.

OK how about Babes Taxi in Fort Lee or Mr Taxi in Tenafly? Can't find taxi freqs anywhere. Thanks. David.

I found a frequency for Babe's Taxi, Tenafly in a 2000 edition of Radio Shack Police Call Directory, of 157.650. Don't know if they still use it or not, but you can give it a shot. Nothing on the other two.
You might want to try another site very similar to this one called Long Island Scanning Resources. There's a whole board for New Jersey there. Click on the link below:

You'll have to register but its free. Just click on register in the top right corner next to the yellow logo. After you register go back to the main page, and you will have to log on in order to post. Log On is in the top right corner of the page next to the logo. After you do that, scroll up to Bergen County and when the page comes up click on Start New Topic and post your question there. Maybe someone can help you.

Taxis are generally licensed in the 152; 157 and 452 mHz ranges with some exceptions. If you can't find them there, they are most likely on a LTR trunking system.

OK i had results with 'cityfreq"
Babe's Taxi (Fort Lee) is 152.390/157.650
A1 Taxi and Limo (Fort Lee) 452.50/457.50
Mr Taxi (Tenafly) 157.620/152/360 <not really sure about this one
Black and White Taxi (Englewood) 157.530/152.27
It's a start.

Thanks for the info. I always thought Mr Taxi was in Tenafly cause I'd always seen their cars parked by Tenafly Bus station. Listening to Taxies is neat.
