Tennessee Advanced Communications Network (TACN) Project 25 Phase II

Hi Everyone,
Just bought the Uniden BCD536 and learning the new world of digital and trunking! I am programming using the Sentinel software my county's (Loudon, TN) TACN P25 TGRP's etc. My question is should I add all the State sites or just the local sites (Lenoir City and Centerville). I do not intend to travel with this unit.

Add only the sites receivable to you. Otherwise the scan speed will slow down dramatically and you'll miss transmissions if it's polling for traffic on sites you can't receive

Thank you...there are a few sites in neighboring counties that are receivable so do you recommend adding those?

I have 6 sites I can receive I have 2 active due to each site is set to carry different traffic.

If they are in adjacent counties, and you are within range, I would include them.

Lenior City and Centerville will both work fine. They carry all the county talk groups plus the state users and systemwide mutual aid, event, and interop groups.
