Tennessee Homeland Security District 7

Hello,
Is there anyone being successful scanning the Tennessee Homeland Security District 7 in Cheatham and Robertson Counties using the Uniden BCD436HP or the Uniden SDS100 scanner being programmed using the Sentinel Software? Any help is appreciated.

I use my trx1 and just leave out the control channel. You may need to adjust your settings like dwell or delay to a minimum.
I monitor Dickson site.

Thanks for the reply. I actually work in White Bluff and I've tried to monitor Dickson, but it's the same outcome. I can see the scanner receiving information, but it's not transmitting. Do you program using a program like Sentinel or do you manually enter the frequencies? I have the squelch at 2 and I'll increase my dwell/delay and see if that works. Any help is appreciated!!

That system does not transmit over the control channels. So it sees that frequency with traffic but in theory it's only sending data not voice traffic. Take out your control channel and she will chirp like a bird.

Just wanted to hop on here and say THANK YOU! I was monitoring the control channels and hearing nothing, this helped a lot.

I'm still struggling to monitor this system via DSDPlus... I am using a single dongle and I downloaded the Sites Data, Frequency Data, and Talkgroup Data files. Do I need to manually input all the voice frequencies into a scan list and do it that way or is there a better way?

Late to the party here... what does Tennessee Homeland Security traffic include? Is it anything worth scanning for beyond what you can hear in the THP districts? (I'm in Franklin.)

Admittedly no. I see now it's like the Middle Tennessee Regional system we have around Nashville, but using NXDN for a bunch of counties up there.

The "Homeland Security District" title threw me off... I thought it was state law enforcement running around on a part of TACN I had never heard of.
