ok i was just checking, i live north of terre haute by clinton and i havent heard much of anything here lately, i used to pick em up fine maybe i need a stronger antenna

I use my handy dandy RS 800mhz whips, (which work great if I might add). and it picks up TH TRS like a dream.... But my scanners could also pick it up with just a plain rubber ducky..

Yeah i just have my RS little rubber 800 antenna and my RS Outdoor VHF-Hi/UHF antenna and i can pick up vhf great I can get as far as allen county or farther some times on vhf but on 800 i cant get terre haute at all

Have you made sure you programmed your scanner correctly? can you hear the control channel? if so go through and make sure the freq's are put in correctly. Remeber to skip 00 slot...

yeah i hear the control channel and i started in bank 1 cahnnel 8

I have a pro-97 by the way, and i had some trouble when i got it programming 800 into it
