The frequency's I have programed for my TG i have 1 or 2 that have interference noise. My question is this, can I delete those frequency's with out interfering with the TG unit's ? they are not signed to 1 certain frequency ? They can still use the other frequency's for traffic ?

No. Uou will miss some of the transmissions on talk groups you monitor. If the system control channel assigns the voice to one of the frequencies you deleted...you won't hear it. Some of this depends on whether you are running that system on control channel only. I presume you are not based on your question.

You could also delete a control channel and hear nothing at all.

If you have the voice channels programmed in then you possibly could delete those frequencies. Technically you only need the control channel and alternating control channels. If the database isnt correct, which sometimes its not or its incomplete, then what is showing in the database as a voice channel could be an alternating control channel. Then you will loose your system until they swap the control channel back over to one you have programmed in. Without actually knowing what system and what frequencies you want to remove that is all the info one can give you.
