I am attempting to load from CSV. I have a working load file from another state, The talk group IDs in THAT file are in HEX. I started a fresh file created a P25 System for Ottawa County PD with the freqs RR shows. Then I imported the 3 column file that I found would NOT load UNLESS I used the DECIMAL TGIDs. Its been scanning a while and I hear nothing. When I try to manually make just 1 talkgroup, I find that it will NOT allow me to enter the TGID in hexadecimal, I get out of range error.

Why does one file allow hex (the one that worked in the other state) and this new michigan file only allows decimal?

Of course this may or may not be why I hear no comms when I scan .

Any ideas?

In EZ Scan:
  1. General Settings tab
  2. Trunking Options group on the right, in the middle of the all the other groups
  3. Talkgroup ID Mode set to Hex
Decimal is the default ID mode on pretty much everything in the scanner world. At some point, you must have set your previous programming to use hexadecimal for some reason.
