I would just like to say Thank You to those that provide us with this live radio feed. My favorites that I listen to are Providence, RI Fire and the FDNY.
I am too far to be able to pick up the FDNY on my scanner. But because of the live feed, I can now listen. Being about 100 miles from the FDNY I was really never able to pick it up on my scanner. Even after putting up a large outside antenna and being about 300 plus feet above sea level. But I can now listen with just the click of a button. Thank you for providing this service.
A few years ago the Providence, RI Fire Dept switched from high band to digital 800. When it was on the 154.37mhz I could pick them up load and clear in my home. Now with the 800 digital, being 50 miles away that is impossible. But thanks to the provider of that radio traffic, again, it is just a click of the button.
There are times when I might listen to other city/county fire or police. The DC area has been a favorite also. And of course Detroit FD.
I just want to say "Thanks". Winter is on the way here in the northeast. Radio Reference and those that provide the Live Feeds will make it allittle more bearable.
