Why would you be getting your radio back?

Really there aren't any good sites that can guide you in the world of digital decoding. What is written in our wiki is very deliberately a starting point only. It's all experience at the dials, and keeping a close eye on mailing lists like the UDXF. Not only are you looking for something decodeable, but you want to notice trends.

For example, recently the French starting using their ARQ-E and ARQ-E3 networks (which I had thought were shut down or migrated to something more secure) again. Not all software has the ability to copy this traffic (mostly unclassified stuff, but look at the sites - like Reunion - they're almost unheard of on HF, save for amateur radio traffic. Good DX there).

Don't rely on magazine logs - there's often a 60 day or more lag time between the time it's received and the time it's published. You want something a bit more real time. There are also a couple of chat rooms dedicated to ute stuff, too. The more timely the data, the better.
