last year they used PBMN but hearing no traffic on that this year

I'g going to guess, CW4 , encrypted. Just a guess, as that is what they were using for the recent protests.

there was just a detail post that came up on the 20, cp, 24 devision so they may be using that.
I know there is a protest on CW1 so

When a detail portable goes over division it’s for a few reasons.

A CW dispatcher has to input the job into CAD then it gets routed to the division dispatcher. It’s easier to just switch channels and have the division dispatcher deal with the job, i.e. and aided a 53.

A detail like the balloons will never be on a division channel. It’s either on a PB channel or a CW channel or a TAC channel.

Division channels are specifically for precinct units to respond to jobs.
