The server IS loud... wife says it sounds like a "jet engine" - closing the doors on the closet fixes the problem.
I agree, server fans sound like jet engines, always wondered why they used such extremely noisy fans?
I found Acasa fans that are temperature controlled and very quite. Changed out all the repeater fans. The new Motorola repeater has those 1 inch fans and ARE very noisy. Luckily it has a setting so the fans only run when transmitting and for a while after. .
