If you're like me, you've been using an LLM (Large Language Model) AI for certain tasks. For me it's mostly asking questions and writing code. While it's been about 80% accurate, sometimes it's just massively dumb. Take the following screenshot for example. This was using a free version of Perplexity.

Reminds me of an old MAD magazine I read while I was young. Showed Paul Revere on his horse and the caption read something like, "1 if by land, 2 if by sea and 3 if by bus."

No, look at the stated times...

Even mentions a flipping train with a layover in Aldershot, England. LOL! It's why I linked the Wikipedia page.

The bus ride may be London Ontario, but then it says via car is 146 hours!

That might be Perplexity's model and it's really not the smartest.

It would seem the mixed anwer is due to the query not explicitly specifying London England. It looks like the flying time quoted is for NY to London England, but the train and bus times are from NY to London Ontario. There is an Aldershot station on the line between Toronto and London (Aldershot train station) and there may be a layover there to accommodate the interurban traffic to Hamilton or Niagara Falls.
Maybe the 146 hours is the drive time from London to the village of New York in Ukraine - New York, Ukraine - Wikipedia .
I would hope that nobody travelling from overseas and not somewhat familiar with where they are going would rely solely on information from an AI provider.
