Dept Of Environment Conservation. Think it's just a New York thing. And lets not forget DEP, Department of Environmental Protection.

All these agencies and nothing seems to get better.

The article is typical of the tin foil hat crowd, how many of the paragraphs start out with save the animal hype then end with cell phone towers that will kill the children? There are outright lies like the FCC has refused to revise its exposure limits which date back to the era of flip phones, but it wasn't that long ago they were lowered by about 6dB.

The FCC is made up of communications attorneys and mostly inept ones. I have never heard the FCC has any jurisdiction over endangered species or their endangered feces. Why should they? That's a problem for another useless Govt agency.

A radio tower for a nearby petrochemical plant had to make multiple payments to different Tribal organizations to ensure the land being built on (within the boundaries of the plant's property, mind) was not some sort of ancient burial ground. Pretty sure there were a couple other similarly ludicrous sounding studies required before getting the go ahead to build from the FCC.
