The Green Dot

What is the green dot next to my user name? Some members have it and some don't. It seems to be related to how much infomation about oneself that members decide to share, but the line seems fuzzy to me with some people without a green dot sharing their location but nothing else and others with a green dot showing a very similar amount of information. I'm not sure this is enough of a correlation for me to conclude what a green dot means.

Any help out there?

NEVER MIND!!! All I had to do is put the cursor on it for long enough to see that it means that person is presently online.

As I write this your green dot is actually grey becuase you are off line... mine is green....soon to be grey.

will work only if a they're not using invisible mode..

And the bright red dot calls attention to the fact that they are "invisible".
