As far as I know the PIP+ uses 37.9400 . I don't know if Alpine helps them but if they do, they are on 154.1000 PL 151.4
jay,

37.940 (csq) is the PIP Commision's New York frequency. I have PIPC New Jersey's frequency as 156.105 (151.4).

Ok guys everyones talking about snow and DOt stuff, but when that good snow flies people tend to forget how to drive in it. Ya always got lots of fender benders and Injury accidents to listen to besides the plows....................Hoser

Hey! Pretty pictures, SLWilson! :>)

Camden county DPW:

500.3125 F-1
500.3625 F-2
If I remember correct, F-1 is active in the eastern half of the county and F-2 operatest the western areas. Not sure where the cut off line is though. Camden County is responsible for the county roads such as CR561, CR534(Clementon Rd.), Berlin-Cross Keys Rd., roads like that. 155.82 is the freq for Berlin Boro if traveling through the area. Would really like to know who salts and plows the White Horse Pike and what freq I can hear them on (Is it one of the state TGiDs?). Also, if heading into Pennsylvania from NJ via the PA Turnpike, be sure to check out 159.075. That is all operations on the Turnpike from the Connector Bridge to Mile marker 300 (between West Chester and Morgantown).
Hopefully, there wont be much of a need for these freqs if you get my DRIFT. {:>D

Middletown Twp, NJ DPW- 159.12 (131.8)..........but will be changing in the coming months (probably spring '08) to 151.13 due to extreme interference issues.

Many sources effecting the input freq....co-channel, adjacent channel, boats operating in-between channel, etc.

I would imagine NJDOT handles the White Horse Pike and all NJ, US, and Interstate highways. IIRC, I did see some low band freqs for NJDOT, but since I'm the other side of the Delaware, I can't confirm that.

You must mean Downingtown (even though the signs say "PA 100 - West Chester/Pottstown", the name of the interchange is Downingtown; even though you're technically in what's considered Lionville - but it's a Downingtown ZIP, which is one of those only in Pa things). And, not to get too nitpicky, 159.075 technically does include the area between MM 300 and the Morgantown Interchange as I recall (it's only about a mile or two).

Woops! Sorry, I did mean Downingtown. Yes, the 159.075 does carry units that are at Morgantown. Almost forgot, it also carries traffic on the NE Extension of the turnpike from Midcounty Tolls to the Lansdale Exit. When the rain/snow line is in PA this 11 mile stretch of road can get quite tricky.

Hey, are the lowband NJDOT freqs still active?

I neglected to mention that if it's anything like Pa., then I wouldn't be surprised if some of the plowing on state highways in NJ are done by contractors, which wouldn't be on any of the state-owned freqs (at least I would think not).

Hi all,

Re: Middletown;
"Many sources effecting the input freq....co-channel, adjacent channel, boats operating in-between channel, etc."

Interesting point Tech, those marine rigs modified for out of band operation are a serious problem around here. Not only are those sport fishers cussing away on Coast Guard channels but railroad channels as well, now you say they're on Public Service channels. It seems not only CBers are operating on "freeband" and apparently the FCC is doing nothing about either.

yup.....the VHF marine issue has been an on-going problem for years. And we're not the only town around here near the water that has been effected. We had the FCC down here a few times but things were quiet those days.
And thanks to the wonderfull frequency coordinators, they are now putting repeater outputs on "mobile only" repeater input frequencies. Public Safety VHF high band is a total mess.
