thinking about Broadcastify

Good morning everyone
I'm thinking about buying a scanner, but thing is, my area is dominated by P25 simulcast, so I'd be looking at a sub$tantial investment if I went the scanner route. In order to dip my toe, I'm thinking instead about doing Broadcatify. I've already seen how the free version is pretty cool. Here's my question.... is there a way to utilize Broadcastify--even if I have to do the premium subscription thing--so that it *functions sorta like a scanner...in that it will simultaneously monitor all, or say, most available feeds in my area? Local Law enforcement near me (Elk Grove Village, IL) is all encrypted so that's out. But I'd be interested in state police, Fire, EMS, and maybe a handful of other government agencies.
Total newb here on this, so thougth I'd ask before plunking down $$. Thanks!

You can set feed dashboards where you can put what you want to listen to and it makes it easy to see all of them and control them. Not a bad setup

You can’t fine tune what you want to listen to with Broadcastify. For example, if you only want to listen to state police but the feed provides state police and the road dept., you will have to listen to roads along with state police.

You can also try software defined radio. It is not a scanner but you can listen to radio traffic for under $50.

You can fine tune what you want on Broadcastify Calls Platform. I set up a Playlist and put 3 TGs in it. Or you could add a whole system.
You can try ScannerLive. You have up to 10 Banks and can have 10 systems in each Bank. Listen to 1 Bank at a time. Trial is free and then it's 29.95. Hasn't been updated in a long time but still works fine

In my area only EMS is scanned so I don't have to hear public works etc. But it's two counties. I'm only interested in my own county, where I'm a fireman. So far I don't see a way to separate out the TGs for only my county. Premium sure has gone up in price. I'm thinking hard about it.

If I get what you say above, with Premium I can use the Calls Platform to select only certain TGs in what is now a free stream that contains many? So I could receive, say, only Fire in a given area? LE is chatty in my area.

Seems ScannerLive is only for SDRs.

I don't have SDR for ScannerLive. You download Broadcastify feeds, but you can't delete any TGs. I listen to my scanner at home and if I miss something I can hear it on my feed 45 sec later. I have 4 TGs on Calls I can bring up too.
