I realize that this is a hot button topic in having ANY Public Safety person killed in the line of duty, but out of respect for the family and department, perhaps this thread should be only dedicated to the fallen officer and not a political message platform.

Perhaps we can start another thread within the Wisconsin posting area for our thoughts specifically about happenings like this and the problems that the so called "undocumented aliens" in this country are causing.

As a Pastor who officiates at Public Safety funerals and Memorial Services, I think that it might be best if we leave this thread as a dedication to a brave officer. Thank you.

I agree with Rev Gary here. And I agree with his starting a new thread for such discussion. Please, if you have political or societal comments to make in reference to this tragic incident, do so in that thread.

I cannot move the above posts to that thread, as they predate the establishment of the thread; however, I will continue to monitor this thread and any subsequent posts of that nature will either be deleted or moved.
