Thurmond & New River National Gorge

Has anyone nailed down the system that the Dept of the Interior is using around the Thurmond area and in the New River National Gorge?

There are some P25 frequencies listed in the database under the Raleigh Co and WV Federal pages, but nothing specific and no NAC codes.

Anyone have any idea what is what?

Those frequencies are the National Park Service and the NAC is 293.... I listen to 'em everyday

Can you elaborate any on which frequencies are used in which area and for what purpose? I go to the Thurmond/Mount Hope area maybe once a year, so that is the area I am interested in.

I have 3 channels left open in a Motorola that i'm programming that I would like to fill with the NPS channels for that area that see the most use.

There is only one that is used quite frequently and that is 169.7750 NAC 293 Which is used for all of fayette and Raleigh Co(mainly in the Thurmond area and sometimes the Gorge area if there's something happening on the water). Just use that one.
