I made another new discovery last night.

The Tift System *7E23 is now a Motorola ASTRO 3600 baud mixed mode system!

High number talkgroups are digital just like Macon in Bibb County GA.

This is the second new digital system I have discovered in the last week as the GA conversion to digital picks up speed. I had to spend some time in Tiftton after I had a blow out and I told the guys there I had followed interesting Tifton police activity around midnight as the patrol discovered that numerous car dealers had been hit earlier Sunday evening by some gang which had ripped off all these new cars and trucks. Some ran out of gas before they could get them out of town and back to Atlanta.

The shop manager said bitterly that they could no longer hear this traffic without a new high dollar scanner.

I love PRO-96 which is only about a hundred dollars more that the BC780 if you know how to buy it.

That new news to me. I have listened to Tift County in the past and never heard any digital traffic before. nice work.

Can you give me a talkgroup that is digital, I want to see if I can pick it up as I have not heard any digital transmissions. Thanks
