Hi,

I have noticed for awhile that whenever I post in any of the forums via Tapatalk that there is a strange time shift indicated in the post.
For instance, this morning I posted in a forum at 11:04am EDT, but it shows up as 3:04PM. Now, I could understand if the servers were on the West Coast and the time stamp showed up as five hours earlier, perhaps, but five hours later?

Are you using UTC? If so, shouldn't the time stamp indicate that as a reference? As well, if you are using UTC, shouldn't the time stamp be in 24 hr format?

Meanwhile, I continue to enjoy and support RR. Keep up the great work!

Regards,
Jim

Btw,

My original post was sent at 11:26AM EDT, but shows up as "3:26PM"!

Jim

Sounds as if you need to reset your time zone.
Go to USER CP (upper left on RR page).
Open OPTIONS (left side)
Scroll down to TIME.

Thanks, Dick.
I'll give that a try and see what happens.
I'll post the results here.

Hiya Dick,

I just logged on to RR using my iPad and I don't see a "user CP" setting anywhere on the screen.

I am accessing the site as the regular site, not the mobile interface.

I went to all of the available user setting pages and my the setting for my state and county is correct (NY).

I just don't see what you are referring to, unless it is elsewhere in the RR site

Thanks
Jim

Thanks Dick, I got it! I found the user CP in the forums. Never new it existed, frankly.

Regards,
Jim
