I wasn't sure if this was worth starting a new thread for, but it was kind of neat. I started searching 415-420 last night and I have a decent elevation just east of Bethany. I found I could hear the Tinker AFB inputs loud and clear. I would expect to hear the outputs but I was surprised when I found they were input freqs. Anyway, one of you MWC guys can check this out. Picked up comms on 415.5625 talking about runways and such. Got a PL tone of 127.3, which matches the Ground Ops and would place the input for Ground Ops exactly 10 MHz above it. I think that is either the correct or changed input for Ground Ops. I wonder if there was some ducting or something to allow UHF to open up like that. Or maybe it's just that I've never searched that range w/ a decent receiver (Pro-97 vs. my old BC246T).
