TK-2402-P model name and market code error when programing.

I am using the software KPG-159DN to program my Kenwood KT-2402-P radio and it throws this error "ensure that the model name and market code are entered correctly" when I tried to read from the radio. The cable works to program other radios, so it's not that. Also the -P version is not even available in the selection box so maybe I have the wrong software.

well, i stumped Kenwood tech support, waiting to hear what the -p means (region code), however, i was able to be told that kpg-158D is the software that is supposed to work with this unit. -k=NA, -e=EU, etc

and further follow up to this from kenwood:

"The “P” simply indicated that it is a special packaged radio that is for North-America. Meaning, this radio likely has a NI-Mh battery and a NI-Mh/Li-Ion battery charger equipped with it. A typical “TK-2402-K” would normally have a Li-Ion battery and charger with it. The actual radio would still function like any other TK-2402. Still need to use KPG-158D to program."

Great Thanks, I am currently looking for the software? I am unable to find anything to download online, only CDs and USB drives. It's 2021 who even considers selling software on storage mediums these days???

KPG-158D is the correct software. "P" is the Canadian Market radio designator, and why the radio only shows IC certification and not an FCC ID.
