I have posted 2 times in this forum and did not get much help from anyone, been reading this forum for a week now and thought i liked it even made a donation, seems that either my questions are to hard for everyone or your just to busy to be bothered with a newbie, if this is the case maybe they should have just a newbie section like a lot of other websites i have seen. To bad everyone is so invloved in themselfs. I really have to say i am surprised. lets see how many respond to defend there actions.

no reply in designated time---
When I ask a question on a board, I do not start a stop watch and gripe if I do not get a reply--I would rather get a late correct answer than a quick inaccurate one. Going off on a tirade that no one has answered you does not encourage anyone to do so. Patience works for most people--not everything is done as quickly as hitting the computer "enter" key. Appreciate what people do for you, when they do it for you, and enjoy these hobbies. Not on your case, just hope you slow down and hear the action. T/T

Gm Scanner_freak, I believe I am Taking all my frustrations out on most everyone (except a few & we know who u are) instead of uniden. I have the 796D & the 246T, the 796D is a great radio, nice interface, easy to program, but the nightmare with the 246t they, uniden should be shot to come out with a product more people unfriendly than any thing i have ever seen. and the manual is just as bad, you look in the manual to do something and they referr you to five different pages to get 1 thing done. by the time u get to the last page u forgot what the hell u where doing. and this is the whole manual, if everything is in the manual then y not put each subject together so u can follow it. have had this 246t for a week and have not had a chance to use it yet, so once again i apologize for my short fuse.
