Do I understand this correctly?

If I program a conventional frequency of 155.01 MHz and set a tone lockout for 179.9 Hz, then the scanner will stop and allow transmissions ONLY for 155.01 if they are NOT encoded with 179.9 Hz. In other words, transmissions on 155.01 with any other tone scheme (other than 179.9) or no tone at all will be received.

TIA

Will that work on a 436 and 536?
That option is available for both the x36HP & SDS series scanners, when creating a channel for a conventional system.

Sett the Audio type for analog, then select the CTCSS or DCS value that you'd like to ignore, and then the check-box to activate that tone/code lockout is available to select.
