I would really appreciate some feedback. I'm going to thin out my shack somewhat, just too much "vintage" equipment in too little space. So, the question is, if YOU only wanted to keep one of these scanners, which one & why? I have 2 PRO 2052s, a PRO 2035, & a PRO 2004. Thanks in advance for any input.

my 2001 and 2004

are in use everyday and serve a purpose.
2001 is for the forestry department and space station.
2004 is for some milair and the 800tac and a few odd mutual aid.
neither is very busy but that is why they are in those radio's.
why tie up a good radio with stuff that is used about once a week ?
396XT for county trunked dispatch
396T for other good stuff on the counties system.
2035 is for the hospitals maintenance and security, and airport tower and allegiant company stuff.

You are fine. I collect older radios and have a total of over 50 two way radios and scanners. Get a box like wine comes in with the divider and you will have a neat and cheap way to store them.

Sell 'Em

Sell them for what you can and buy something you can enjoy today. If no takers then donate to a ham club.

Someone will sell them for you after you pass for $1 each.

If I could only keep one it would be the 2035.

In features it's basically a newer version of the 2004, and is more capable than the 2052 (except for Motorola and EDACS analog trunking, which are going away anyhow).

Too many radios? Ha! That's a good one. You had me going for a second.
That's like saying "I have too many cameras" or "I have too many calculators". Ha!
:)
