Ok so I was bored while riding around today and decided to just put my Icom 208 on scan just to see what I can hear. The radio stopped on 358.5125 and I could hear 2 females talking about some guy cheating on his girlfriend and how he was a "turd". Then they started talking to someone else about getting something off the printer. Then a male voice came on and was saying "hello, hello?" Then I started hearing the 5 oclock news cast from one of the local tv stations. Then it dropped out, solid carrier but no audio.
Perplexed I listened for a while. After several minutes I started hearing commercials for a grocery store, then more silence. Then an interview with a Titan football player, then silence, then a weather forecast and silence. During the silent times there was full carrier but no audio.
I am totally perplexed as to what I am hearing. I tried searching every whichaway on ULS but came up empty handed.
Any ideas?
