TPL causing audio cut out - Pro197

I have been experiencing an audio cutting out with a RF signal still showing. This sounds much like a mic cutting out. It only happens when I try listening on the freqency (CHP Ornge2 45.94) and the TPL123.0 turned on. When listening to the same frequency with the setting in the All Mode Search, I have no dificulities hearing.

I have tried listeing after adding the TPL mode to the channel that was in the search mode, It still cuts out.

The other CHP frequencies function fine with TPL mode on.

I can live with this, I am just curioust if this might be a soft/firm-ware issue or bug?

It sounds like a tone vs. audio frequency issue. Does this happen on any other frequency associated with this tone?

No it works great on all the other frequencies that use 123.0. Strange too that when in the tone search on this CHP channel the 123.0 stays up throughout the transmisstion. +

I am guessing the tone is devieating out of tollerance of the scanner from this transmitter?
