Damn-it boy!

What kind of crossing was it at? Paved w/gates or rural unprotected?

What was the speed of the train? How far past the crossing did the truck get pushed?

Y'all had another train/car MVA a while back....is this the same crossing or rail line?

I'm not sure really, I know it was a shorter train. It was ruled a double fatality, One was a freshmen in college, the other a high school senior at marmaduke high school. Rumor has it they were playing chicken with the train and lost. Both were confirmed dead on scene and as of about an hour ago, There were still searchers looking for unaccounted for body parts.. I'd say it pushed it about 600 feet or so from the origin of impact. Usually the trains on that track run 65-70 in rural areas. It was a rural unprotected crossing with nothing but a stop sign on county road 814. The last accident awhile back was at 835 road. About 5 miles apart I'd say..It was a rural gravel crossing. It was the same track, Union Pacific Railroad. No names, ages, or anything like that have been released yet and are not available.. When they are I'll let you know. There were witnesses but none of the law agencies are releasing any information..as of yet..

EDIT: ONE OF THEM IDENTIFIED AS Terry Kyle Huckabay.. 18.... Information from http://www.heathfuneralhome.com

That's a shame......so young.

Hopefully someone will learn from their foolishness - if that was the case.

Let's hope drugs & alcohol didn't play a part in it.
