I bet that dozer driver was grinning like crazy. Bull dozing a bunch of cars blocking a road is one of those fire fighter dreams. Now he's gonna get to wear a special patch on his coveralls with crushed cars on it and paint little squashed cars on the side of his dozer. He's a dozer ace now!

I hear the Eaton Canyon fire might be heading your way, does that look like a problem?

Its so bad they are using bulldozers to clear abandoned cars that were hopelessly stuck in traffic.
When the Blizzard of '78 struck central Indiana, a co-worker got stuck trying to drive to work in the blowing and drifting snow. He left his car in the snow drift. When he got back to his car a couple days later, it was not where he had left it. A large front-end loader had come along clearing the drifts. It picked up his Toyota Corolla and dropped it in nearby pile of snow.

I'm down in Montebello so I'm fine here, other than power flucuations. I have several friends that have been evacuated from up there though. I guess Saddle Peak burned but the repeater site was protected. Castro is still in good shape. Oat Mtn has no power and most of the repeaters are down. Harvard is in the path but there's still some time to get phoscheck on it.
