Below are some notes for a update submission for the Travis AFB trunked system. Anyone have any comments, or guidance?

The parenthetical numbers are Motorola 'M3' numbers. It's just the Hex of the Uniden decimal TGID divided by 16 so as to 'remove' the status bits.

I've included a spreadsheet that takes the Radioreference.com data and adds my new finds from the 2005 airshow.

One other observation is that the TGID for ATOC 1 must be in error.

Uniden BC-396T P25 Threshold setting = 7

New IDs During the show.

33968(83B)

34096(853)/Airboss (probably ch#1)
34128(855)/(Probable Ch#2)
34160(857)/Stair truck for C-5 (Probable Ch#3)
34192(859)/"Recorded on VHS / Ask TB for DVD" (Probable Ch#4)
34224(85B)/Net5 (Net5 = Ch#5)
34256(85D)/(Probable Ch #6)
34288(85F)/Ch#7 Airshow chat

33968 - 34288 were all Airshow support

41008(A03)
41648(A2B)

Between TravisFD T3 40112(9CB) & Mobile Command Post TGIDs 41680(A2D). Suspect these TGIDs are part of 'Mobile Command Post' series. So probably some sort of aircraft support usage.

48240(BC7)

Between C-5 Tow/3 48208(BC5)& EMS/CRS 48272(BC9). Suspect some sort of aircraft support usage.

51216(C81)

Between KC-10/2 (0xBCF0) & Civil Eng/5 (0xC830) . In same 'series' as Civil Eng. Suspect some sort of Civil Engineer / Facilities support.

61008(EE5)

Between Medical Rediness (60976/EE3) & E.R. Primary (61040/EE7) Suspect some medical usage.

61136(EED)

Between E.R. Primary (61040/ee7) & Ramp/Tower (62448/f3f). In same series as medical TGIDs. Suspect medical usage.

62480(F41)
64880(FD7)

Excuse my ignorance... is this stuff digital or analog?

Yes. ;)

As far as I can tell, every TGID but one (624) uses digital modulation. I'd say about five of the TGIDs use encryption most of the time.

You'll need a P25 capable scanner to follow the action.
