Does anyone know who actually manages the state system and who negotiates how to come on the system.
That's a good question, I'm thinking it could be the New Jersey office of Information Technology (OIT)???

Yep, see post 60, neither article mentions encryption but police probably will be as as they have been.

I think the state phase ll system was a better choice than the county 500 MHz system.

Nothing like it in the world. Trenton is very unique, you know I know Tom LOL. Just as long as the police have a viable way to communicate, that really is the most important thing. :)

OIT still has the reins on the system (for now.....). Craig is still around so he is probably involved.

This is all been in the making for a long time. This is Trenton! I miss the days of Doug Palmer LOL. I'm totally retired now but worked for The Trentonian for a long time in key positions. They should have never gone with nxdn system. Threatened officers lives daily. They should have gone p25 when the 800 megahertz system broke down rapidly causing them to use the old UHF frequency for a while. Pretty much all I'm going to say in all of this. Everything comes home to roost.
What was the deal the capital cost
They could have had their own system on a municipal lease low rates low buyout same as making a rental payment. Some really goofy decision makers over their.
