yes. we believe you, but you are missing the point. This site, and the aps that stream the FCC PUBLICLY LISTED police comm licences communications are some of the reason these agencies go E. But, you cant pick and choose which agencies that you want info on, and which agencies you say should not be shared..... thats just plain wrong and selfish. If you dont agree to RR's prime directive, SHARING... then dont come on here and expect respect from the other members. we all know this hobby has an expiration date. we all have local agencies that went E. Join the club, and stop whining.

i predict all the pd talkgroups will become encrypted no later than april 21st, judging by what happened with the trenton talkgroup on the county system, 3 weeks after that talkgroup was in the database they went encrypted. oh well, its not like vice or homicide are on the nxdn system they were on the county prosecutor talkgroups, those encrypted talkgroups was not good enough, ill take those $5,000 radios if they dont want them.. i learned about trenton using this nxdn system from a post in the forums, not sure why it needs to be in the database

Wait, so your telling me you can program a trunked system into your scanner using ONLY the data on the FCC database completely unassisted? Please tell me how you do it... I haven't been able to program anything based soley on FCC data in roughly 20 years. They dont even list conventional PL tones...

It needs to be in the database because that's what radio reference is all about. We share information about all systems and do not hide them. Trenton PD was a missing link in the New Jersey database for quite a while. We welcome input on here from all sources on all FCC publicly licensed agencies. No one is happy with the destruction of our sacred hobby including myself. I lost many great monitoring opportunities over the years to encryption. But I do not hide my information. I accept it as a mature adult as the reality of this Hobby.

So, even though you KNOW that sharing info publically will likely be a detriment to the hobby you STILL share it? I'm curious, do you have a financial interest in this site? It seems ludicrous to shoot one's self in the foot just for the sake of sharing info...

So wait, the same people that are complaining that the information should not be made public on this site are the same people that learned about it....from people talking about it in the forums and PMing each other on that same site....

This thread has strayed WAY too far from it's intended purpose of confirming the status of the city's old Motorola system.

Everyone needs to take a DEEP breath & cool their heads...
