Saw that. Looks like it might be sufficiently out to sea that we will only get some rain for a couple days.

Hopefully.

Currently projected landfall late weekend @ Myrtle Beach. Track shows back to DelMarVa Monday /Tuesday south of Baltimore/AACO. Main moisture south and east of the bay.

Current track has the storm's eye west of earlier projections, which means that the eye will pass over the lower Chesapeake Bay and make landfall over the DelMarVa peninsula. Likely to affect Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester Counties with heavy rain, winds, and surf.

Updated forecast track has the eye passing directly over Ocean City MD. Winds forecast to be 50kts along the coast, 34kts inland, including Annapolis and Baltimore.

And Tropical Storm Ana dissipates into a tropical depression. Expect rain, brisk winds and the potential of minor flooding over the lower shore. The storm moved too slowly overland due to a blocking system to the north. Friction with the surface and the lack of "warm" water to draw energy killed it earlier than expected.
