Trouble understanding workflow

So, I understand the concept of getting a scanner, hooking it up to a raspberry pi with an audio card, and recording from there, but I'm getting lost on how to capture an entire system. (or more than a few channels)

Is there something on the raspberry pi that I implement to queue recordings from multiple channels? Also are the audio files usually sent somewhere else for storage and deleted locally on the pi?

EDIT: I guess I should specify, my end goal is not to stream to Broadcastify, I just want to record several channels from a system and upload the audio to an Amazon S3 bucket

Look at SDRTrunk and either Trunking Recorder or Rdio Scanner (lots of examples on Youtube). I use Rdio Scanner myself and it's been fantastic.
