You'll have secret service, aircraft for Trump, motorcade involving temporary road closures, state/county/local police and emergency traffic and news media to monitor. This is not about politics it is about additional monitoring opportunities.

Of course being in Idaho not NC maybe things are different there.

Most P25 scanners can decode/monitor the P25 Radio IDs of the USSS.
One of the reason to scan the USSS.

I really figured it would be encrypted so have not tried to monitor in recent years. I will have to program the P25 channels just in case.
