It seems every time there is a hot call like a shooting, car chase, robbery, etc. Trunk Recorder has a big gap in time so that call never shows up. The call is dispatched because I heard it on a scanner. Can an agency mess with the P25 stream to disable SDR type voice decoding software?. I can't believe all of this is a coincidence since it happens allot. I wonder if they do this thinking it messes up Broadcastify Calls so it does not stream. Scanners used to stream would supposedly not suffer from this but I think agencies are smart to think people would use a $600 scanner to stream. This would be in areas where simulcast is the issue and a pair of SDR's go for $40 a piece, a whole lot cheaper and much more to stream. Kind of a poor man's encryption sorta speak. Would the P25 data stream show this?. This happens on a Harris Phase 2 system.

Well it really depends who is providing the feed to broadcastify. Certainly the feed provider can temporarily shut things off, and if the provider happens to be your dispatch center, they would know when something sensitive is occurring.

I record and stream my local simulcast using SDRs and I haven't had this issue. Is it possible you are hearing the unencrypted dispatch but you're missing the encrypted tactical chatter? I even get occasional county task force talk I listened to them follow a guy with a GPS tacker for like 2 hours.
