so what i do now is hold each freq and change it to FM i had another person say program as covnetional and find the active control channel and put that as FM so i dont know if that works either

After about 50 PM's we finally figured out he is hearing a "buzz" at the beginning of transmissions from broadcastify and a Montreal live feed. He wants to program his scanner to "hear" that buzz. He is not trying to hear the raw control channel or digital voice sound.
