I notice that there are literally dozens of trunked systems of various flavors, all operated by Mobile Communications America, in the database -- many of them having some degree of ambiguity and consistency to their naming. I've listed below all such systems that I have found so far -- it is by no means a complete list. Many of them have exactly the same name (some even in the same state or area).
Would it be feasible to apply a consistent naming pattern to disambiguate these systems, reduce confusion and make finding a given system in the database morestraightforward? Perhaps the major problem is with wiki integration -- all systems named simply "Mobile Communications America" now link to this wiki article although it pertains only to this individual system. If every system were given a unique, unambiguous name, each would automatically link to its own wiki page.
For instance, the first few systems in the list above might be given names like these (with most ambiguous terms at left and least ambiguous at right):
I don't know if this falls under the heading of comment, suggestion or request but believe it to be worth noting. I realize it would be no trivial endeavor, though it could conceivably save time and trouble somewhere down the road. Food for thought, for what it's worth.
