Sure enough doesnt. I looked at the box again and noticed there are two scanners on the cover. A BCT8 with 800 MHZ TrunkTracker III and BC350C. If ignorance is bliss why dont I feel happy?

At my computer, duh!
Because now you're no longer ignorant. I actually got mine intended to make it the CC receiver for a win trunker type system....someday. Project #8325.

Check to make sure that the stuff you're interested in isn't cross patched to any conventional channels. Hang on to it for the house. If you're using separate scanners for organization purposes, it makes a good little unit for stuff you dont want on the other scanner due to system scan time, too many channels, out of band channels in a bank, or antenna requirements. It's a good radio, it's just not real fancy on controls.

Pills,
Here is a list of conventional frequencies used in the Tulsa area. The ones you listed above are not always active and some are just data.

155.07 Tulsa County Sheriff's Office Low Band
453.65 Tulsa Public Schools Security (Tuls Police K-9 Units use their radios at night for car to car and to monitor school intrusion alarms)
854.9625 Talk Around car to car
866.0125 Mutual Aid Tac-1
866.5125 Mutual Aid Tac-2
867.0125 Mutual Aid Tac-3
867.5125 Mutual Aid Tac-4
868.0125 Mutual Aid Tac-5
856.7375 TPD-(Digital) sometimes analog

Everything else is trunked on our 800 system. Do you want any frequencies for the surrounding towns or counties?

the only other I could think that I might want would be glenpool but I thought I read somewhere they are trunked too. I have them from Henryetta north. This scanner is a little cumbersome to learn to program but the reception seems better than my RS-82 even with the RS having a longer antenna. Dunno if it is true but my perception is my reality. :)
