Hi all -

I've noticed over the past week or so that I'm not getting near as much traffic on Suscomm. In fact, right now, I'm hearing nothing - and usually DSP is very chatty during the day. I can still get Fire/EMS on the 453.225 simulcast, but not hearing anything on the 800 talkgroups that correspond. Did they change up some of their trunking frequencies? Anyone know?

SusCom in Sussex County

Same here! I've been checking the Frequency Databases on a daily basis for a control channel change for Suscom in the State of Delaware.

some of them

are the 8tac channels and would not be used for trunking.
some add the 853.5125 but i believe that has no designation.

why not try and scan the band ?

Those are the 5 Nationwide Interops and would not be part of the Trunk
They are Conventional Repeaters/Simplex

Just checked the licenses - there appear to be 15 frequencies on the license but only 10 listed on RR.

See if adding these help:

851.01250
851.51250
852.01250
852.51250
853.01250

Doh! I thought they looked familiar..silly me. I'm used to seeing them in Maryland on separate licenses.

Yes - I agree - time to use the search function.

If you're using a Uniden scanner, I noticed sometimes the Dispatcher either hits the Encrypt button or leave it from Data or a Tac channel. The scanner won't pick up as much if this is the case.

A suggestion - I believe the sites are connected and if you can pick up the Kent site and have access/ability to feed the Kent CC to Pro96Com, it should tell you the CC frequency for the Sussex site.

Just a thought.

Trunkong Change?

Same problem. Worked fine until 2 days ago. I haven't heard a thing on either of my state police scanners since. All the fire groups still work normally. I was hoping it was only a maintenance problem.
