Trunking I am lost ??

Hi I am new to scanning I purchased the Pro 2051. I can't figure out how to enter talkgroups for the local county EDACS Networked. RSO which my daughter is with . Also San Bernardino police department where my son is a officer. they use Motorola Type II Smartnet . I have read my manual over and over. I have also have do a search on this site and others. If anyone can help please do.

I hope you have your Central Site for the Riverside County EDACS programmed in LCN order. There are six freq's to enter. Please start at
channel 1 or the beginning of a free bank.

The talk groups you are after are these.

04-041 ** Hemet / Banning Primary
04-042 ** Hemet / Banning car-to-car
04-043 ** Hemet / Banning car-to-car
04-044 ** Hemet / Banning car-to-car

These are entered in scan lists. When you are trunk scanning, press
MANUAL type 0,4,.(period or dot button),0,4, 1 then press E. Repeat those steps for each of the three remaining ID's.

Same idea with San Bernardino TG's, only enter as a E2-800 system.

Looks like some new system freqs were added as well in the database. The
Trunked Set you want for your area:

In this order (leave position 6 Blank)


01 866.3125 02 866.8125 03 867.3125 04 868.3125 05 867.8125 06 N/A 07 868.8125*

All the talk groups you need are in the RSO database on here. Enjoy!!
