Depends on what scanner and software you are using. I have had trouble with certain scanner/software combinations not uploading the correct "Trunk Bank" settings to the scanner. For example I had a bank in my 296 that was Moto II VHF and uploaded an LTR to change that bank. It got the freqs and ID's right but did not change the systen type to LTR. Mostly operator error on my part.

A bit more information on what you're trying to pull down and program on to what device would be more helpful.

Sorry about that- BCT-15 & using ARC-15, pulling down for example: Bell Fleetnet,Ont.Prov.Government Zone 1 ( for sarnia )

also when going to systems frequencies red(primary channels) blue (alternate channels) do you copy your choice of line for that city or double click on same city and copy freq. from that window on to your scanner. Hope you understand my meaning here, probably not using the correct terms. Thanks again.

You might not be getting anything because the BCT15 doesn't do digital P25 sir.

Have another look...the system has analog TGs on it. Granted the OPP and some others can't be
heard, but that wouldn't explain not hearing anything.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Learn how to manually program your scanner.

Then when the commercial software screws up, you'll be able to spot and fix the problem.

Follow the "BC396T for Fleetnet" stickied thread at the top of the forum and use it to check what's been uploaded to your scanner.

It would explain why he's not able to hear much though.

No really.

The MOH is always quite active and at this time of year, the MTO plows are quite active.

Lots of analog activity and if he isn't hearing it, then he's obviously got something programmed wrong.

Thanks everyone for your input, I am receiving analog which I manually programmed just fine, as Dave mentioned. Looking for the correct way to place trunking (analog) into a system? would someone have a sample file I could use as a template?? Thanks again for all your input.
