Probably because you're not using PSK mode.

Indeed, good reminder, must read docs. Tried "-mp" option, still no decode, using discriminator tap. Tried another receiver, getting
some decode. Looks like PSK is more sensitive to this kind of setup.

System ID is "2E". 866.8375 is missing.

I am tracking Site 2, Site 1 is 2E from what I see.
As far my version: I am using what I think is the latest version, this might be that version that doesn't track. I will thoroughly go through all the details laid out above and respond when I have some data worth sharing. Thanks for the information.

Thank you for your help. My next question is how to lockout talkgroups... I cannot seem to find that option. I remember seeing it once but cannot locate it.

OK so there seems to be a couple of intertwined variations on the topic, tracking a pure P25 system using UniTrunker, or
a non-P25 system such as FleetNet. My curiosity, does UniTrunker need the "pure" P25 VC channel numbers entered manually,

No, it will auto populate P25

The other reply was for someone doing FleetNet Motorola Type II.

Nothing should be in your .frequencies file for a P25 trunking system (assuming you're running a Fast Lane version of DSD+)


You haven't indicated what version of DSD+ you're using. 1.101 won't trunk track P25 (it doesn't decode P25 control channels)

I have finally had a chance to sit down and found out that in fact I have been using the 1.101. So that is my issue for this software option. My goal is to trunk but enable myself to lock out and listen to certain TGs on P25. I have Unitrunker installed which listens to P25 fine, but locking out using DSD+ doesn't work is it my version of DSD again or is it something else?

Yes, 1.101 won't do much for you with P25 systems. I would assume that the latest version of Unitrunker would do everything that you need. I know that with access to one dongle, DSD+ Fast Lane can handle any P25 trunking system and you can easily control which talkgroups you hear.

What is the name of the software?

It's Unitrunker Version 2. Join the the Google Group for permission to use it.
