TRX-1 mute?

Does TRX-1 have a mute other than hitting the menu button or trying to turn it down with arrow key which takes forever?

Thank you, about the only thing I dislike about this scanner after 5 years. Never bugged me until my wife retired and she keeps talking to me🤣

As soon as you leave scanning there's no way to go back to it. You have to select scan and it will do a time consuming reload again. Could a solution be to take off the antenna? It's a BNC connector so are done quickly. Or push the SEL button on a conversation to enter pause mode and then push arrow left or right to go to the next TG or frequency, that hopefully are quiet. Then push SEL again to continue scan.

what I'm doing now is pressing "menu" and it goes to "edit" when I want to go back I press "SEL" when it says "cancel changes" and it goes back without reloading everything.

If you have the skip button set to skip, Press it. it will then skip it until you reboot or go into the menu and select "restore skipped"
